The White Stripes canceled their remaining tour dates for 2007 last week and it is now widely believed it was due to the release of a leaked sex tape starring drummer, Meg White. The tape, which hit online this weekend, shows a woman who looks like Meg White and an unidentified male having sex in multiple positions. In a statement posted on their website, the band said:

They thank you for your understanding and well wishes. Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time."

Well, that's one way to put it, but I'm not really sure why she'd be upset. As far as celebrity sex tapes go, this one isn't as mind-numbingly boring as usual (i.e. Keeley, Kim, Screech, and Paris). The bad news is that it kinda looks like 70s porn. 70s porn without Roller Girl, but with a lady who kinda looks like your mom riding a guy who looks like your social studies teacher. Except Meg White has long hair. Your mom's perm is unfortunate.
