Britney Spears boarded a private jet last night with Adnan Ghalib and was nowhere to be found until this morning. New York Daily News reports:

Troubled pop tart Britney Spears skipped Los Angeles with her boyfriend on Wednesday night and flew here to avoid a planned intervention by her family later this week, sources close to her said. Pals said she hopped a private jet in Van Nuys with paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib and took off for Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, where the couple landed last night. Where they went from there wasn't immediately known. Britney got spooked by published reports her family planned to have cops haul her out of her home and take her to a hospital for the second time in a week, if necessary, friends said. They also said she was upset that her parents rekindled the Dr. Phil incident by going on NBC's "Today" show."

There have been several reports of where Britney might be headed - Cabo San Lucas, Bahamas, Maui, Krispy Kreme, but no one really knows for sure. Probably some place romantic where Adnan can take more pictures of Britney to sell. People always try to be so negative, but I bet she left to go on a Christian mission to Kenya or be the keynote speaker at a parenting seminar. Because I think we can all agree that it's pretty obvious that she's really had it together this month.

UPDATE: She's in Mexico. They could have said "in a hot air a balloon over the North Pole," because nothing really is surprising anymore with this crazy bitch.
